SixersHoops is an independent fan-operated website providing news, analysis, tools (including Pick'em and trade-related features), and community features related to the Philadelphia 76ers and the NBA. The Site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Basketball Association, the Philadelphia 76ers, or any team, league, or related entity.
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to create an account. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it updated. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Site or other users.
All content on the Site, including articles, grades, statistics, projections, Pick'em questions, trade machine outputs, salary figures, and similar materials, is for informational and entertainment purposes only. It is not professional, financial, legal, or gambling advice. You should not rely on Site content as the sole basis for any decision.
The Site may allow you to submit, post, or share content, including but not limited to comments, chat or group messages, trade ideas, community posts, profile information, and Pick'em related activity ("User Content").
Interactive features (including chat, group leagues, and community feeds) are provided as-is. Conversations may be public or visible to other members of a group. Do not share sensitive personal information. SixersHoops is not a party to interactions between users and is not liable for disputes, statements, or conduct of users in chat or elsewhere on the Site.
Pick'em games, leaderboards, grading, trade machine calculations, and similar tools are recreational. Results may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accurate scoring, or error-free data from third-party sources (including game results and statistics feeds).
Site design, branding, original articles, and software are owned by SixersHoops or its licensors. NBA, team names, logos, and related marks are property of their respective owners. You may not scrape, copy, or republish Site content at scale without permission, except for ordinary personal, non-commercial use permitted by law.
The Site may link to or embed third-party services (for example social media embeds, authentication providers, or data sources). We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability.
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT AND FEATURES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIXERSHOOPS AND ITS OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, USER CONTENT, CHAT, PICK'EM, TRADE TOOLS, OR ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US TO USE THE SITE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (IF ANY) OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SixersHoops and its operators from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Site, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate access for any reason, including violation of these Terms, suspected abuse, or to protect the Site or other users. You may stop using the Site at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we revise this page.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local law applies to you. Courts in Pennsylvania shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where prohibited by law.
