Philadelphia 76ers Player Grades

Starters

Tyrese Maxey

A-
33 PTS (10-26 FG, 4-12 3PT, 9-9 FT) • 4 REB • 7 AST • 2 STL

Maxey had a rougher shooting night but still put up 33 points and was perfect from the free throw line. He kept the Sixers in it all game but couldn't hit the game-winner at the buzzer.

Still a strong performance despite the miss.

VJ Edgecombe

C+
11 PTS (3-9 FG, 1-2 3PT, 4-6 FT) • 6 REB • 2 AST • 1 STL • 1 BLK

VJ had another quiet offensive game shooting just 33% from the field. He contributed with 6 rebounds but the scoring efficiency continues to be inconsistent.

Kelly Oubre Jr.

C
13 PTS (5-13 FG, 1-6 3PT, 2-2 FT) • 5 REB • 3 AST • 1 BLK

Oubre struggled shooting the ball at 38.5% and was just 1-for-6 from three. The effort was there but the production wasn't enough.

Andre Drummond

B+
17 PTS (6-9 FG, 2-4 3PT, 3-4 FT) • 12 REB (3 OREB) • 2 AST • 1 STL • 1 BLK

Drummond had a solid double-double with 17 points and 12 boards. He shot well from the field, though he probably shouldn't have taken that three-pointer late in the fourth when they needed a bucket.

Still, a strong overall game.

Trendon Watford

B+
7 PTS (3-8 FG, 0-1 3PT, 1-2 FT) • 3 REB • 2 AST • 1 STL

Watford had a solid game with his passing and driving to the basket. He didn't score as much as his triple-double game but made smart plays and kept the offense flowing.

Bench

Jabari Walker

A-
12 PTS (5-6 FG, 2-2 3PT) • 5 REB • 2 TO

Walker had a great bounce-back game, shooting 5-for-6 from the field and perfect from three. Twelve points in 18 minutes with excellent efficiency is exactly what the bench needed.

Quentin Grimes

B-
13 PTS (4-8 FG, 2-5 3PT, 3-3 FT) • 5 REB • 4 AST • 1 STL

Grimes had 13 points and 4 assists with solid all-around play. Not his most efficient night but he contributed across the board.

Adem Bona

C
2 PTS (0-1 FG, 2-2 FT) • 4 REB • 1 STL • 3 BLK

Bona provided some rim protection with 3 blocks but didn't do much offensively. The defensive energy was there though.

Jared McCain

D+
0 PTS (0-3 FG) • 1 AST • 1 STL

McCain is still coming back from injury and had a few good passes, but went 0-for-3. He'll get better as he gets more game reps.

Eric Gordon

F
0 PTS (0-1 FG, 0-1 3PT) • 1 AST • 1 TO

Gordon played 6 minutes and didn't score. Not much impact.
