Starters
Tyrese Maxey
Maxey led the team with 31 points but the efficiency wasn't there at 41.9% shooting and just 18.2% from deep. He kept attacking and added 4 steals, but forced too many contested shots in the loss.
VJ Edgecombe
VJ contributed 18 points and hit 4 threes but shot just 40% overall. Solid rebounding effort with 7 boards but couldn't provide the efficiency needed in the loss.
Kelly Oubre Jr.
Completely invisible offensively with just 3 points on 1-for-5 shooting. One of his worst games this season and limited minutes reflected the team's struggles.
Andre Drummond
Another efficient double-double at 83.3% shooting. Dominated the glass with 11 boards and 4 offensive rebounds. Did his job despite the team loss.
Trendon Watford
Ineffective in limited minutes with just 5 points and 1 rebound. Quickly pulled from the rotation as the team searched for answers.
Bench
Justin Edwards
Shot efficiently at 57% from the field and knocked down 3 triples. Provided a spark off the bench but didn't impact the game beyond scoring.
Dominick Barlow
Best two-way performance of the night. Crashed the glass with 5 offensive boards, hit a couple threes, and protected the rim with 2 blocks. Brought the energy when the team needed it.
Quentin Grimes
Struggled shooting at 30% but facilitated well with 5 assists and played solid defense. Didn't force it despite the cold shooting night.
Adem Bona
Quiet in 9 minutes with just 2 points. Grabbed 5 boards but needs to be more aggressive offensively to make an impact.
Jabari Walker
Fouled too much and provided nothing offensively beyond free throws. Non-factor in limited minutes.
